There is no standard

There is no standard of healthy body that is for all achievable. Our society untruths have created a system that oppresses us and tricks us, into shaming and judging others. If their body is different to us that may support otherwise to we can’t see past looks and again the system reinforces that people with bodies other than what the standards or us say is healthy or beautiful are defective bodies rather than different able bodies. When we standardized people’s bodies by labels, standards and hashtags and say other bodies are wrong because we don’t understand them or have them ourselves, we are trying to avoid the discomfort of divesting from an entire body-shame system by projecting it on others and we keep the cycles going. Living in a female or male body, a Black or white or colored body, an aging body, a fat body, a skinny body, a body with limbs not working or missing, a body with mental illness, just a body is to awaken daily to a planet that expects a certain set of apologies to already live on our home. There is a level of “not enough” or “too much” weaved into every strand of difference. Natural intelligence suggests EVERY living being should become its highest form of itself and designs us accordingly but our society mindfucks us into living and believing otherwise. Radical self-love demands that we see ourselves and others in the wholeness of our complexities and intersections and that we all work to create space, respect and compassion for those intersections.
