We are all so much more than any of us see

Day 1 and 2 Proud and Strong these two go hand in hand for me because i am proud I’m still here and i had to use a lot of mental strength self love to know my worth over my darkness.
We are all so much more than any of us see. You see a girl in little outfits or a yoga pose or a body, I see so much more. I live so much more as do we all. We are not just the labels social media or society has given us, we are all more. We think everyone has it better but we only see an image that feeds everyones imagination differently. This image I see here makes me proud and feel strong, because I am living and breathing when I tried to quit. Because I showed up and didn’t leave my daughter without a mother. Because even though some days beat me down, I don’t want to quit anymore. We all have behind an image fears, weakness, challenges, joys, blessings and so much more. After all we are human. We all look at each other’s social media content idolizing one another, wishing we had more of X, Y, and Z. We’re constantly comparing our behind-the-scenes to everyone else’s highlight reel. And as a result, we’re losing sight of what we do have, all the things we can be grateful for, all the ways in which we are enough as is—even with our lazy days, low bank accounts, messiness, and hardships. Remember that whoever or whatever you’re comparing your life to, every single one of us has our “stuff”—just because we’re not posting it doesn’t mean we don’t have it. Here’s the ultimate truth: Your behind-the-scenes are more honest and beautiful than anything on the highlight reel. Life isn’t just a high-light reel no matter who shares it. So look beyond that, remember that everyone is human and stop comparing yourself to that limited view of someone. In the long run you’ll be happy that you did.
